PHYSICAL THERAPY:
Quality PT services provided by
licensed and experienced physical therapists for
orthopedic/sports related injuries. Most insurance
plans are accepted and self payment plans are also
available. We offer full 60 minute initial evaluations
and 30–60 minute one-on-one follow-up treatments.
ONE-ON-ONE TRAINING:
Individual sessions with experienced
trainers and exercise physiologists. Exercise
programs are tailored to your specific goals whether
for performance enhancement, weight loss, or general
fitness.
EVALUATIONS:
Detailed physical assessment will
expose your risk of injury and deficits in function.
EXERCISE PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT:
A unique
exercise program will be developed according to
your goals and evaluation. There will be instruction
in the execution and progression of each exercise.
RUNNING EVALUATION:
A detailed assessment focusing
on the mechanics of running. Using the results from
your evaluation and observations during a treadmill
running analysis, you will know where your deficits
are and how to correct them. This will educate you
on how to improve your running, and make you a
less injured runner.
RUNSTRONG:
A 60 minute circuit style strengthening
class aimed at making you a better, less injured
runner. It is held several times per week, and space
is limited. During the class you will be strengthening
all the major muscles needed for running, working
on your balance, and building a strong “core”.
No machines are used, your body and some minor
props are all that is needed.
GROUP INSTRUCTION:
For people with similar goals
and/or similar sports, group sessions are available.
CONSULTATIONS:
Lectures and consulting services
are available on a variety of topics including but not
limited to strengthening, stretching, fitness, and
rehabilitation. Many groups, coaches, schools,
teams and countless others have utilized the
expertise at FOUNDATIONperformance to improve
their own programs. Some recent clients are
Stonehill College, Mansfield High School, Bishop
Hendricken High School, Oliver Ames High School,
LaSalle Academy, TeamRI (triathlon group), Providence College, Irish Athletic Association, “Team in Training” (Leukemia & Lymphoma Society)
and
Rhode Island Rhode Runners (running group).
